Dear friends, colleagues and fellow ophthalmologists,
It is with great pleasure that we extend a cordial invitation to the 2024 Conference of the European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, which will be held in the beautiful and vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain, during October 3-6, 2024.
The Scientific programme is organized over 4 days around the up-to-date topic of Brachycephalic Ocular Syndrome, and our confirmed speakers are the world known leading experts Dr. Marta Leiva (DVM, PhD, DipECVO), Dr. Lionel Sebbag (DVM, PhD, DipACVO) and Dr. Stefan Kindler (DVM).
Two practical workshops, one devoted to the surgical treatment of Brachycephalic Ocular Syndrome mastered by Dr. Marta Leiva and the second one focusing on Assessment of Tear Film Quality mastered by Dr. Stefan Kindler, will take place on Sunday.
The congress venue will be the NH Constanze Barcelona, that provides an inspiring and comfortable setting for both attendees and the industry sector, and participants are encouraged to make their lodging reservations in advance at the venue or in a place nearby.
Social events include a welcome reception, the Gala dinner, and the culinary, historical, and natural charm of the host city of Barcelona.
Meanwhile, all participants are encouraged to contribute with an abstract with their latest research achievements. Best Presentation Prize will be awarded at the Closing Ceremony. Research and Travel grants information can also be found at our website.
